The FAMILIA REUNION-15 (FR XV) was conducted last September at Eastwood City, Libis.
The venue has a big parking lot for a possible grand Familia Reunion ! The parking lot could easily fit more than 50 (fifty) cars easily. The best thing was that the parking was free. Hmmm, looks like a good alternative...
As evident in every meet, surprises never failed to amaze me. Bo was sporting a new look in his Corvis Wing (paging Andy !, ain't it a good time to visit Atoy ?!) and of course, nobody could miss the monstrous 18-inch wheels. What a beaut ! David's unit, his celebrity 2ndGen and ever famous projectors, was sporting a new set of 17-inch mags. I wonder where they get their moolah ! Damn, I was green with envy.
Kristian had the biggest surprise. He came with a new 2nd gen to boot. He sold his yellow unit with a pristine unit with original mazdaspeed trimmings. Of course, as usual, it was equipped with banger audio equipment. An SPL machine in the works. Check out the pictures of his audio setup. Of course, we gained a new member - the new owner of Kristian's previous unit.
The 1stGen boys were few but nevertheless, very well represented by Ryan, Jay and Mark. I can't wait to see those two at the strip. And of course, there's the Astina main-stay.
Francis' drag car was sporting new rear discs. Hmm, looks like it was being prepped up to handle the new horses. New members were added to the 2ndGen guys. Kim, Ben, Nikki, Carlo (x2), Ernie were there, to name a few. Aaargh ! Chris came with a Honda. As of this writing, the unit was already released with added hp c/o AutoPlus.
Of course, the star of the day was Eric's Lantis. Stock-looking but still, an eyecatcher. Bitten by the mazdaspeed bug, wait till we hear from him in the next few months.
Till then. |
