Most members got lost in their way going there - I guess it must be Andy's secret hideaway, hmmmm. The trip, however, was worth it - the meet shattered the standing attendance record - there were 18 cars. It was really unfortunate as the Great Leader, Andy, was not able to make it as he was down in sick bay. Tsk, tsk. It was even graced by movie actress Sharmaine Arnaiz - well, almost. We were really that close to approaching her.

Arrival of members started at around 2pm and swelled at past 4. Four (4) new members were inducted namely: Virgil, Gian Carlo, Mike and his bro-in-law (forgot his name). As usual, Ben came in first and later followed by the convoy of Nikki (with a group of 4), Dex (with his anonymous gf?), Kristian and Dan. Gian Carlo (came with his brother) and later followed by Virgil and I. Jay and Bernard arrived shortly. We were later joined by Jon (with his wifey), Gabby, Francis, Benitz (with his gf), Essex, Vhan, and Gilbert's group. Mike (with friend) came in shortly - along way from Cavite, with his bro-in-law who incidentally owns identical white Mazdaspeeds.

Vince was not able to come and we thereby postponed the lecture on Turbo setup. Francis gave us an update on Gerry's turbo 2nd Gen. It seems that they were able to use pistons from Toyota's AEG. Thus, there was an end to frying-pistons problem. However, they're still having problems on overboosting - Gerry still wants to go over 15psi. Gilbert and Francis proposed that the next meet be conducted at the North Harbor and invited the group to join the races. Most are still contemplating on joining but may yet agree with a little more convincing from the events committee. The picture on our plastic ID would have to wait for a new group picture. Sorry Andy, I'll just crop the picture to include your and Chris' units.

The guys, led by Ben, is proposing a beach or pool party. Francis would confirm if Gerry's resort would be available. If it pushes through, it would be on the second or third weekend of May.

The group then, transferred to Tektite for a group picture. After a roll of negatives, the meet was adjourned at 6:20pm. Some guys went to the ongoing TranSpor show ( as if there were better cars to oggle at !).
